November favourites

Another month has passed so it is time to take a look at the products which I liked and loved in the past four weeks.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Rockin´ Curves mascara

This mascara has a slightly odd wand but it does it’s job well. With one stroke I can get all my lashes covered. With two-three coats my lashes are curled and long, they are separated with slightly more volume than before. It doesn’t flake or smudge on me throughout the day.

It has a bigger wand than most of the mascaras but that is one of the best things I like about Rimmel mascaras.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious

I loved the original Maybelline Lash Sensational, so I had to try this one out too. It isn’t as good as the original but I still like it. It lengthens and gives a bit of volume too. The only downside for me is that if I get a bit too over excited about the amazing look of my lashes, I apply one coat too many and ruin everything. So that means, I have to be careful and know when to stop applying mascara. It doesn’t smudge or flake on me.

Turbliss Deeply Moisturizing Face Oil

On the package it says: “Deeply moisturizing and protective. Suitable to use as a cold protection. Contains high levels of omega 3, omega 6 fatty acids, linoleic acid, and phytochemicals which keep the skin elastic and healthy. Orange and myrtle essential oils support skin structure and uplift the spirit. 100% natural.

The oil has a really good scent. It smells like orange, cardamom, ginger, and winter spices. If the scent would have a name, I would call it a lovely Christmas evening.

The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Cream Body scrub

The body scrub smells like a field of peaches on a nice day of summer. It has bit of sweet, fresh, and soft smell. It smells like freshly picked peaches. The scrub is gentle with skin but strong enough to do it’s job. Since the scrub has creamy formula, it is really easy to apply and smear on the body. After using it, the skin is smooth and moisturised.

  1. You have me curious about the Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious now. I tried the original earlier this year and it surprised me so much! I normally don’t get on with Maybelline mascaras but it changed my mind about them.

    • I like the original better but this is also good. Right from the package it’s a bit wet but it will dry a little with few weeks and the formula gets better. Also, like I mentioned in the post, if you do one coat too many, lashes will clump together. There’s a really fine line between perfect and a disaster haha.

    • Between this and original one, I prefer original Lash Sensational mascara. It’s simply easier to work with the original one, although this is pretty good too 🙂 Do you get Covergirl or Maxfactor there? Their Volume Lashblast is a really good if you are looking for a new favorite mascara. I don’t know the Maxfactor’s mascara name but you can find it if you look for the same mascara wand. Maxfactor is just repacked Covergirl.

      • I tried some Max Factor mascaras back in the day and disliked all of them 🙈 May have to try one again soon as all my long time favorites seem to be phased out.

  2. Great picks of mascara and I love the dry face oil and I’m currently using almond body oil from deals yard which comes as a saviour to beat the winter blues and of course, scrub is the most essential element during winter skincare
