June favourites

Another month has passed. This time it was June. That means it is time to reveal my monthly favourites. When I picked out my favourites, I realised that I have been talking about them at least once in the past few months. So without further ado, let’s get into this.

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Shower Gel

The scent of the green tea range is light, fresh, and perfect to use during spring and summer. I have been using it during my morning showers. Since it has nice refreshing scent, it helps to wake me up even on the mornings where I can only think of getting back to bed. The shower gel is soap-free and gentle on skin.

The Body Shop Instaglow CC Cream Bright Glow

Bright Glow CC cream is meant for light skin. On the packaging it says reduces sallowness and brightens complexion. I have been wearing it by itself, under powder, foundation, and under a combination of the two. It works well as a foundation primer. The finish is silky and matte, which I really like. The CC cream also gives sun protection SPF 20, which is necessary during summer. You can read more about it here

Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalising Sleeping Cream

As the name says, it is a night time product. The cream is concentrated, so a small amount goes a long way. I use it before bed. When I wake, my skin is moisturised and I have that wonderful morning glow. You can read full review here (

JOIK Refreshing foot bath

I usually do a foot bath after long days of being active. My feet get stressed easily so the foot bath is a blessing. I use boiling almost too hot water and two teaspoons of bath salt. After the foot bath my feet are much more relaxed and less tired. It also brings a really good night sleep. You can read more about it here (link).

  1. I love the Body Shop Instablur primer, but I tried the BB cream and it doesn’t suit my skin (I have quite oily skin and I found I got very shiny very quickly with the BB cream!)… would you recommend the CC cream as an alternative to the Instablur?

    Loved the post! 😊

    • Unfortunately, I haven’t tried Instablur so I can’t compare them. I think you have to take a look at the differences between those two products and decide which one suits your needs better 😊

  2. So funny, I am currently using up the Fuji Green Tea shower gel! It’s almost gone and I love the scent for summer. Have you tried their new Pinata Colada LE summer edition yet? The scent is so absolutely gorgeous!

    • I haven’t tried it yet but I know the scent. When smelling it in the shop, it seemed to be bit too sweet for me at that point. Maybe I will get it later on sale and then change my mind. Anything can happen 😊

  3. Not sure if I asked you already or not, but did you prefer the Oils Of Life Sleeping Cream or the Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask better? I figured they serve pretty much the same purpose and I want to try one or the other.

    • That’s a tough question. I like them both. For me it depends on my mood and where I am. It’s easier to take the cream with you on a trip than the mask. Although if you repot it to a smaller container the size doesn’t matter. I personally used the mask a year before I ran out of it and I applied it every evening. I don’t know how long the cream will last but I imagine at least 5-6 months.
