Morning routine, June 2016

The last time I talked about my morning routine was In February. Now it is June (already!?) and things have changed. I began to use new products and my morning routine is different than it used to be. If you are interested in what’s new in my mornings, keep reading.

After I wake up and actually get up after multiple times of hitting my beloved snooze button, I make my way to the bathroom.

The first product I reach for is The Body Shop Tea Tree 3-in-1 Wash.Scrub.Mask. I gently massage it on my face to remove all sleep, night cream, and possible impurities. Since it is still morning, I am not too harsh with my skin. After a minute I rinse it off and move on to creams. If you are interested to read about more of the 3-in-1 Wash.Scrub.Mask, link to the review is here.

I usually don’t use tonic in the mornings anymore. If I have zitastrophies taking over my face, I use The Body Shop Tea Tree Facial Toner. It helps clear the skin and gives an extra nudge in the healing process. You can read about the toner here .

When the cleansing and toning is done, I move on to facial creams.

As a morning cream I have been using Drops of Youth™ Youth Cream. It is a very airy cream, soft, and moisturising. The cream has subtle fresh scent. A big plus is that it disappears into the skin quickly.

Another “cream product” I use, is The Body Shop Elderflower Unperfumed Eye Gel. It is soothing and cooling under my eyes. For me, the gel is a life saver in the mornings after a night of bad sleep.

I hope you enjoyed this post. If you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to let me know.
